The ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup will get underway with its second edition, in January 2025 in Malaysia. Just like the first edition held in South Africa in 2023, 16 teams will look to fight it out for the numero uno crown and follow in India's footsteps of etching its name in glory.
The reigning champions, as well as other powerhouses in the form of England, Australia and New Zealand will be favourites to win the tournament.
16 teams will be divided across four groups in the opening stage of the tourney, with 41 matches set to take place in a 16-day period.
Group A consists of India, with hosts Malaysia, Sri Lanka and West Indies. Group B has England, Ireland, Pakistan and the USA. Group C consists of New Zealand, South Africa, minnows Nigeria and Samoa. Group D rounds off with Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal and Scotland.
