Farm Fresh notched a second consecutive win in the PVL All-Filipino Conference by downing sister team ZUS Coffee, 26-24, 13-25, 25-21, 25-19, on Thursday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Trisha Tubu was four points shy of her career-high output after delivering 28 points, all but one from attacks, to lift the Foxies to a level the Foxies standing after back-to-back losses.

They still need to get used to competing and playing in more matches.”
“All our lapses are addressed immediately in training. There are still a few, but we’re working on them to ensure they don’t happen in our next games,” Tubu said. “Actually, I look for progress in myself every day. Thankfully, I’ve been able to contribute to the team, but I know there’s still a lot to improve on, so I work on it daily.”

The Foxies did not give up the opening frame despite a sudden run by the Thunderbelles but folded the following set. They immediately corrected the mistake in the last two to secure the win and snap the winning streak of ZUS Coffee.
Article continues after this advertisementThea Gagate was still productive with 16 points built on 12 attacks, three blocks and an ace. Chinnie Arroyo and Jov Gonzaga contributed 10 points apiece as Cloanne Mondoñedo dished out 13 excellent sets.
ZUS Coffee will have to immediately shrug off this loss with Creamline up next while Farm Fresh aims to keep the ball rolling opposite Choco Mucho, both on Dec. 12 at PhilSports Arena.
