MANILA, Philippines — After more than two years, Seventeen’s Seungcheol reunited with Filipino fans as part of the group’s much-anticipated comeback tour last January 18 and 19 at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Seungcheol, the oldest member and leader of the 13-member group, tore his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in August 2023, causing him to miss the sold-out “Follow to Bulacan” shows held on January 13 and 14 last year at the same stadium. His last performance for the Philippine crowd was during the “Be the Sun in Bulacan” concert on December 17, 2022, at the Philippine Arena.
Article continues after this advertisementLighting up the stage with his charisma, Seungcheol’s comeback concert performance was met with thunderous chants of his name and fans singing along. Each time his face appeared on the LED screens, the crowd erupted into cheers, their energy filling the stadium.

“I’m really thankful that you stay on this stage with the members. After 10 years, I’m very, very happy that we are artists or singers that can fill this kind of stadium,” Seungcheol said in Korean, as translated by the concert translator last Saturday.
In a statement on Monday, the DA said the newly created Agricultural Cooperative Enterprise Development Services (ACED Services) would streamline efforts and optimize resources allotted for supporting cooperatives.
Article continues after this advertisementHe then shared that while performing, he felt sad about not being able to perform last year. The fans responded by chanting “Gwaenchanh-a” (it’s okay).
Article continues after this advertisement“Thank you so much guys for waiting. Thank you so much as well for the lots of support, we’ll do our best to come back,” Seungcheol added.

“Although we are not 13, I really hope that there will come a time when we can fill this kind of venue with 13 members,” he said.
Article continues after this advertisementTwo members missed the shows — Jeonghan, currently serving in the military, and Jun, pursuing an acting career in his home country, China. Despite their absence, the other members and fans kept their presence alive by singing their parts in the songs.
Aira Revilla, a fan of the group for three years, was delighted to see the group leader again in the two-day concert.
“I’m just glad that he’s well after the injury and he was able to perform in the stadium. I missed him,” Revilla told INQUIRER.net.
Revilla’s sentiments were shared by Ron Regalado, who expressed pride in seeing Seungcheol perform again.
“Nakakatuwa at nakakaiyak, as always,” Regalado told INQUIRER.net.
